ATTENTION: This plugin requires the plugin ‘ACRIS Product Downloads & Product Links’! (https://store.shopware.com/acris43285672826/produkt-downloads-produkt-links.html)
In the Shopware standard, only certain file formats can be uploaded in the media manager, such as images (jpg, png), videos (mp4), PDFs or audio files. Other formats such as ZIP archives, Office documents (docx, xlsx) or CAD files (dwg, dxf) are blocked and are not available.
We have therefore developed a plugin that removes this restriction and offers the following advantages:
Extended file upload
In addition to the standard formats, additional file types such as ZIP, XLSX, DOCX or CAD files can be uploaded and used in the Media Manager.
Individual release of formats
In the plugin configuration, you can flexibly specify which additional file extensions should be allowed. These are automatically added and are immediately available.
Installation
- Open Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins.
- Upload, install and activate the plugin.
Plugin-Konfiguration
6.7: Extensions > My Extensions > Media Upload Extension > Configure
- Additional file extensions
Enter the desired file types that should be allowed in addition to the Shopware standard (e.g. zip, xlsx, docx, dwg, dxf). The extensions are separated by commas.
Note: The approval only takes effect if the file extensions are stored for the sales channel ‘All sales channels’.
