Configuration of the plugin

After installing the plugin, no further configuration is required.

Using the plugin

Application example: The shop owner does not want to make certain categories visible for the standard customer group

The plugin is fully integrated in Shopware, accordingly you will find the assignment of the customer group to be blocked directly in the categories.
Catalogues -> Categories -> click the category to block -> in the tab GENERAL scroll to the new entry "Block for customer groups or rules".

Select and save the customer groups or rules to be blocked. You may have to empty the cache.

Further examples of application:

  • Display certain categories for dealers only (customer must be assigned to the correct customer group and log in)
  • Display shopping worlds only for certain customer groups (these must be assigned to a category)
  • Make products only available to certain customer groups -> For this purpose, the configurations in the plugin settings can be adjusted so that products from blocked categories cannot be found in other categories and/or the search

Update from plugin version 6.1.0

It is possible to block categories for rules in addition to customer groups. The plugin therefore guarantees the shop operator maximum flexibility.

Update from plugin version 3.1.1

  • ACRIS default (block of categories only if customer group is entered in the provided field)
  • Block without customer group assignment (If no category is entered in the provided field, then block is automatically applied to ALL customer groups)
The installation of the plugin is very fast and uncomplicated.

  • Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins

  • Upload, install and activate the plugin

  • no further configuration of the plugin required
