Purpose of the plugin
The standard customer account in Shopware offers only limited customisation options. However, many shops want more control over the display and functions for their customers, especially in the B2B sector.We have therefore developed a plugin that enables comprehensive customisation of the customer account, shopping basket and checkout.
Advanced settings for the customer account
Key areas such as newsletters, account overviews and personal data can be customised or hidden. The Rule Builder can be used to restrict individual functions – such as changing billing and delivery addresses, payment methods or account information – for specific customer groups. It is also possible to log in with a customer number and password.
Optimised order history with filter function
An advanced order overview is available in the customer account. Customers can conveniently filter their orders by period or status, allowing them to find them more quickly. Status displays or functions such as changing the payment method can be specifically deactivated for selected customer groups.
Individual options for corporate customers
For business customers, fields such as ‘Department’ can be hidden in the registration form, or the choice between “Commercial” and ‘Private’ can be restricted. It is also possible to specify whether corporate customers are allowed to order as guests.
Customisations in the shopping cart and checkout
The plugin also offers numerous design options in the shopping cart and checkout. These include the display or order of columns and totals, the presentation of shipping and payment information, and additional fields or note texts. The display of the off-canvas shopping cart and the order of the products can also be individually configured.
Character limits can be defined in the registration form for input fields such as name, company, street or telephone number. This helps to avoid input errors and ensures consistent customer data in the system.
With these functions, the plugin offers maximum flexibility in the design of the customer account and the purchase process.
