Some discounts & promotions require additional information or marketing notes. This is not possible in the standard version.

We have therefore developed a plugin that offers the following feature:

Add additional info text to discounts and promotions
After activating the plugin, a text input field appears in the discount configuration where the info text can be entered. The text is displayed in the cart overview, checkout page and order confirmation page.

Optionally add to confirmation email
The plugin adds an email template. If you extend the confirmation email with the standard template, the info text will also appear there.

Installation

  • Open Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins
  • Upload, install and activate the plugin

Discount Configuration:

6.7: Marketing > Promotions & Discounts > Edit/Create Discount > Custom Fields > Discount Info Text

Configuration options:
Text input field
The text entered here will be displayed in the cart as well as on the checkout & order confirmation page below the discount name.

Set up email template:

6.7: Settings > Flow Builder > Order placed > Flow

Configuration options:
Show info text in email
To also display the text in the email, the confirmation email template must be adjusted. In the corresponding flow in the Flow Builder, delete the existing THEN action and add a new one. Insert the template provided by the plugin. (ACRIS Mail Template with promotion info texts)
