Purpose of the plugin
Shopware does not offer a convenient way to provide structured download areas or document overviews. This means that important files such as data sheets, manuals or price lists often have to be integrated in a cumbersome manner.
We have therefore developed a plugin that makes the management and presentation of downloads much easier and clearer:
Easy creation and management of downloads
All downloads are created and organised centrally in the admin area. Files can be assigned to different download groups in order to structure them thematically – for example, by product category, document type or subject area.
Adding downloads to product tabs on the product detail page
Downloads can be displayed directly on the product detail page. Tabs can be used to clearly display product-related documents, allowing customers to quickly access important information such as data sheets, assembly instructions or technical specifications.
Visually appealing presentation in the front end
Downloads can be easily integrated into any page using the included Experience Worlds element. Each file can be assigned a preview image and sorted individually. In addition, two different display modes are available: tile view and list view.
Flexible control of visibility
The visibility of downloads can be controlled based on rules – e.g. by customer group, country or sales channel. This allows relevant content to be displayed in a targeted manner.
