Purpose of the plugin

This plugin enhances Shopware's standard breadcrumb navigation with a dynamic display. The breadcrumb path displayed automatically adapts to the actual navigation path used to reach a product in the shop.

If a product is located in several categories, the breadcrumb is displayed according to the category currently in use. This keeps navigation clear, logical and easy to follow for users.

If a product is opened via the product search, the breadcrumb automatically displays the path of the main category. This keeps orientation in the shop consistent and clear, even with different entry points.

Installation

  1. Open Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins.
  2. Upload, install and activate the app.
No further configuration is required after installation and activation. The plugin automatically extends the existing breadcrumb navigation of the Shopware storefront.
