Easy configuration with any number of RuleBuilder rules
In the Shopware standard, all customers must always view and actively confirm the terms and conditions and cancellation policy at checkout. This is often impractical, especially in the B2B sector, as there is no right of withdrawal, for example, or the terms and conditions do not need to be accepted again for every order.
We have therefore developed a plugin that offers the following advantages:
Rule-based control
With RuleBuilder, you can create any number of rules to flexibly control whether the terms and conditions and cancellation policy should be displayed, hidden or automatically accepted at checkout. This allows you to implement different specifications for certain customer groups, countries or other conditions, for example.
Automatic acceptance of terms and conditions
If the stored rules apply, the terms and conditions checkbox is automatically activated when the order is completed. If a rule applies at the same time that completely hides the terms and conditions, this function is no longer relevant, as no checkbox is displayed.
Installation
- Open Plugin Manager: Settings > System > Plugins
- Upload, install and activate plugin
Plugin configuration
6.7.: Extensions > My extensions > Hide terms and conditions / accept automatically
- Sales channel
Select the sales channels to which the rules should apply. - Hide cancellation policy (priority 1)
RuleBuilder rules can be used to specify when the cancellation policy should be completely hidden during checkout (e.g. customer group ‘Retailers’). - Hide terms and conditions (priority 1)
RuleBuilder rules can be used to specify when the terms and conditions are no longer displayed at checkout (e.g. corporate customers with their own framework agreement). - Automatically accept terms and conditions checkbox (priority 2)
When the terms and conditions are displayed, the checkbox can be automatically accepted as soon as a rule applies (e.g. regular customers).
Note: If the terms and conditions are completely hidden, this option no longer applies.
