-
No error messages or blank pages after the standard period has expired
In the Shopware standard, order confirmation emails contain links that customers can use to view their orders, change payment methods or make additional payments. By default, these links are only valid for 30 days. After this period has expired, customers often encounter blank pages or error messages and can no longer manage their orders.
We have therefore developed a plugin that offers the following functions:
Adjustable validity period
The length of time that order confirmation links are valid can be flexibly set in days – e.g. 30, 60, 90 or more.
Manage orders for longer
Customers can reliably view their orders, change payment methods or make additional payments even after the standard period has expired.
Installation
- Open Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins.
- Upload, install and activate the plugin.
Plugin-Konfiguration
6.7: Extensions > My Extensions > Order Loading > Configure
- Activate the function for loading orders based on the maximum order age
This option enables or disables the order age check. If the function is deactivated, the Shopware default remains active (links expire after 30 days). If this function is activated, the period can be freely defined. - Maximum age of order entries (days)
Specifies how many days order confirmation links are valid (e.g. 30, 60, 90 days).
