Purpose of the plugin
There are numerous options available for configuring "gross / net switchovers" depending on different sales channels, customer groups or other rules. Each switch can be customized and offers a wide range of configuration options. You have the option to display a responsive modal window for price switching, either on all category pages and/or on the home page. In addition, you can also display a gross / net switch in the header. The modal window as well as the display text in the header can be customized according to your wishes. In addition, you have the option to display the gross / net switching also on the product detail page.Optionally, it is also possible that a customer group assignment based on the selected gross / net selection to perform as well as to activate a default account type "Company or Private" during registration.
Use of the plugin
After installation and activation of the plugin is available in the admin area under Settings > Extensions > Price gross / net switching the management of different gross / net switching. A sample rule is provided, this can be customized or new rules can be created.
General section
- Internal name: is displayed in the overview of the administration
- Active: if active, the rule will be applied
- Priority: the higher the number, the more important - only one "Price Gross / Net Switching" is applied at a time - the rule with the highest priority wins.
- Display price gross / net switching in the header: the selected option determines where the price gross / net switching is displayed on the navigation page in the storefront - the following options are available:
- To the left of the language or currency toggle.
- No display in the header
- Display price gross / net switching on product detail page: the selected option determines where the price gross / net switching is displayed on the product detail page in the sales channel - the following options are available for selection:
- To the right of the tax information
- To the left of the tax information with the "Gross/Net" text
- To the left of the tax information without the "Gross/Net" text
- No display
- Â Display modal: the selected option determines where the "Price gross / net switching" modal window is displayed in the sales channel - the following options are available for selection:
- Show modal on category and product pages (not on the home page).
- Show modal window on all pages
- Do not show modal
- Rules (optional) OR link: Displayed if at least one RuleBuilder rule applies. If no RuleBuilder rule is selected this is always considered to be true.
- Enter the text for the "Gross" price in the header: the preconfigured text "incl. VAT" can be changed here.
- Enter the text for the "Net" price in the header: the preconfigured text "excl. VAT" can be changed here.
- Pre-selection for the "Account type" field in the address form: If active, then the "Account type" field will be set based on the selected price status. If it is set to "Gross" it is private, if it is set to "Net" it is commercial. For this option, it is important that the Shopware feature for displaying the "Account Type" in the address form is active. (Settings > Log-in & Login > Show selection between company and customer account).
- Assignment of the customer group for the price status "Gross": If the customer group is selected, then when the "Gross" price status is set in the storefront, the selected customer group is assigned and used.
- Assign the customer group for the "Net" price status: If the customer group is selected, then when the "Net" price status is set in the storefront, the selected customer group is assigned and used.
Modal configuration section
- Title text: "Please select price display" can be changed.
- Content text: "Please select whether to display prices for private customers (including VAT) or (excluding VAT). " can be changed.
- Gross button text: "Private customer (VAT included)" can be changed.
- Net button text: "Business customer (excl. VAT)" can be changed.
- Background color of the gross button: normally the colors of the theme are used, here different colors can be selected.
- Text color of the gross button: normally the colors of the theme are used, here different colors can be selected
- Background color of the net button: normally the colors of the theme are applied, here different colors can be selected
- Net button text color: normally the colors of the theme are adopted, here deviating colors can be selected
