Purpose
The plugin helps avoid errors when domains are accessed without a valid sales
channel assignment in Shopware. This is especially crucial for setups using
language-specific directories without a main domain.
Application Scenarios
• A multilingual shop uses only language-specific URLs (e.g., /de-at, /en-gb)
and no root domain like https://www.acris.at
• A user or search engine accesses the root domain without a language path
• An invalid path like https://www.acris.at/test
is accessed
In all these cases, the plugin either redirects correctly or returns a
system-level "not found" message, instead of a critical 500 error (in
Shopware 6.4 and 6.5).
Usage
After installation and activation, configuration is done in the admin panel.
Changes take effect immediately after saving and clearing the cache.

Limitations / Notes
In Shopware versions 6.4 and 6.5, invalid domain requests cause a 500 error –
using this plugin is especially useful.
From Shopware 6.6 onward, system-side redirect behavior has improved – the
plugin still adds targeted error handling but does not replace full redirection
setups.
The plugin is not a complete SEO or redirect solution but provides targeted
handling for sales channel misassignments.
