Purpose of the Plugin
This plugin extends the Shopware storefront with an option to select the number of products displayed per page. Customers can define directly in the product listing how many items should be shown per page. This feature is especially useful for shops with large product ranges, as users can adapt the product overview to their individual browsing and search behavior.
Select Products per Page
A selection option is displayed in the product listing, allowing customers to choose the desired number of products per page. For example, they can select between 12, 24, 36, or 48 products per page. The function can be used in both category listings and search result pages. This makes the selection available exactly where many products are browsed or compared.
Flexible Display
Two display variants are available for the storefront. In addition, the products-per-page selection can be shown only when enough products are available. This keeps the product overview clear and ensures that the function appears only where it provides real added value for customers.
Individual Selection Values
Shop operators can define which product quantities customers are allowed to choose from. The values can be calculated automatically based on the existing Shopware settings or defined manually, for example 12, 24, 36, or 48 products per page.
Installation
- Open the Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins.
- Upload, install, and activate the plugin.

Defines whether the selection is displayed in the shop. - Display as needed
Controls whether the selection is always displayed or only when it is useful. With the demand-based display, the selection only appears when enough products are available. - Layout
The selection can be displayed either as a button with text and number, for example “12 products / page”, or as a label and dropdown, for example “Products per page: 12”. - Display context
Defines where the products-per-page selection should appear. The function can be activated for category listings, search result pages, or both areas. - Value mode
Determines which product quantities are available for selection. In automatic mode, the plugin calculates the values based on the existing Shopware setting for products per page. In manual mode, custom values can be entered.
